MALCOM DEVIN

Managing Director

Malcolm has 25 years experience in the development and construction industry delivering high quality projects. He was previously a Director at a global property and construction company before starting Leith Group.

As Managing Director of Leith Group, Malcolm has day to day involvement in the delivery of each project. He has a broad range of experience in all sectors and asset types of development and construction.

DAVID AZAR

Head of Finance Operations

David was previously based in Asia where he worked in talent management and finance. Within these roles he spent time managing teams of sales and execution staff, networking with global firms and high net worth individuals to originate business and drive growth.

David has a very strong network across Asia, living and working in the region for 12 years.

As a leader, connector and business driver he has succeeded in evolving businesses in the Asia Pacific region. Whilst he understands the key mechanics of a business, David can identify true talent and nurture it to drive a business towards its goals.

GEOFFREY MCKINNON

Development Director

Geoffrey McKinnon is a seasoned Real Estate professional with over 24 years experience across residential real estate and property development.

Geoffrey has extensive experience in acquisitions, sales & marketing, construction, design, development and property management Geoffrey has an in-depth understanding of the “highest and best use” for potential development sites.

These skills cover land subdivisions, medium density and high rise. His long-term exposure to the Australian residential property market, and having won several awards for outstanding sales achievements, facilitates an educated understanding of best practices in design, marketing and delivery of medium density and high-rise residential property.

Geoffrey also has an extensive network of independent acquisition specialists that constantly provide “off-market” opportunities.

CAIN MCKINNON

Senior Analyst

Cain is a property investment expert. Working with Leith Groups development investment team, Cain consults with the board to structure every property and hotel development opportunity. Leveraging his exceptional knowledge of the property market, and 7 years experience working on global deals, he provides detailed analysis across every element of a prospective development.

Cain conducts detailed analysis to assess every deal we’re presented with. He then makes recommendations to the Investment Committee as to which deals are viable and present the best opportunity for the company and investors. If a project is deemed to meet Leith Groups exacting standards, he subsequently conducts a thorough breakdown of the development including the location, the market, property comparables, transport links and projected returns on completion.

Cain graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Urban Development, Property Economics. Since then, he has gained extensive experience in property investment markets across the globe.

LYLE HARRIS

Construction Manager

Lyle has 15+ years experience in the construction industry and commenced his career as a residential carpenter and progressed to hold a management position within a national construction company. Working on commercial, industrial, technology and residential projects. Lyle is a licenced Builder with proven experience in Design Management, Cost Planning, Financial Management, Programming & Team leadership. Lyle has won four Master Builder awards on completed projects.

MELANIE CHAMPION

Administration Manager

Melanie Champion has had over 15 years’ experience in Project and Event Management and Office Administration.

Melanie ensures the day-to-day operations of Leith Group are run proficiently, by seamlessly managing on-site systems and processes, and providing administrative support for all staff and proactively managing supplier and sub-contractor relations.

Melanie is passionate about exceeding client’s expectations and seeing projects managed effectively and efficiently.
